The Monica Storss Benefit and silent auction

Monica Storss is a local performance poet who has a terrible autoimmune disorder. She has no insurance and the drugs she needs to live are too expensive. She needs to go through an expensive new chemotherapy to combat this disease….. Even if she had insurance, she couldn’t cover the co-pay on these drugs.
We are trying to do our small part as artists to help her through this rough time.

Poetry is emergent of the oral tradition. Poetry readings are integral to the health of our creative communities. Experiencing art should not be drudgery. A reading should be as much fun as any punk show.
